Life in the tower – why is it good and is it worth it?

In recent years, a new form of housing has been developing in Israel in general and in Tel Aviv in particular – luxury towers. The way of life that has been accepted in the world for many years is making an “aliyah” and more and more luxury towers are being observed throughout Tel Aviv, changing the city’s skyline. The towers are becoming a new dream, a status symbol coveted especially among young rich people and among housing reducers – retired people who leave home in the suburbs and move to the city for a smaller apartment. Even among the middle class and the bourgeoisie in the suburbs, the dream of an apartment in a luxury tower develops instead of the dream of a house with a garden. Apartments in a luxury tower require less personal maintenance (there is a maintenance company), form a closed community, and provide indulgences and a lifestyle experience that is hard to resist.

Those who buy an apartment in the tower expect an impressive view. An open view improves the quality of life, and depending on directions, the airflow. An open sea view is the most sought after and therefore also priced mostly higher, but also a regular urban view, or an east view towards the mountains, expand the heart and improve the quality of life.

Another advantage of apartments in towers is the quiet. The bustle of the street remains down, and the tenants in the tower enjoy both proximity to the center of things, cultural centers, restaurants, shops and markets, as well as peace, quiet and an open view.

The towers offer spacious and large luxury apartments. Many times the apartments are sold by the developer in shell condition to allow the tenants to divide the area according to their exact needs. The accepted standard is large balconies suitable for multi-participant accommodation and many times the penthouse, penthouse and garden apartments receive a private pool or outdoor Jacuzzi.

Beyond the apartments themselves, the towers offer a unique lifestyle experience that includes many treats. Speed lifts, 24/7 security, gyms, spa, rooftop or backyard swimming pools, communal garden, function rooms and a luxurious tenant lobby.

The tower is managed and maintained by a management company that is responsible for both the ongoing maintenance of the computerized and complicated systems in luxury towers, and the large workforce that regularly works in luxury towers – guards, cleaners, lifeguards, gardeners, etc. Therefore, maintenance fees in towers are much more expensive than up to a house in ordinary residential buildings, but definitely give value.

In the towers the parking is underground so the vehicles are better guarded than in the street parking and there is easy access between the vehicle and the elevator. Although most of the towers are located near the centers of culture, entertainment, and shopping and can be walked on foot.

So who is this lifestyle for? Those who can afford to pay a higher price per square meter and high maintenance fees, and want to enjoy a spectacular view, quiet and airflow, high standard of living, and still be close to the cultural and entertainment center, shops and markets, restaurants, cafes and bars and everything Tel Aviv has to offer.

The real estate agency “Baharv Properties” has a large selection of apartments in various luxury towers – in the gymnasium tower, in the Arlozorov tower, in the city garden, Akirov, Beit Hanna, Assuta, in the towers on Rothschild Boulevard and more.
